Webinar: Guide on Priority Emission Reduction Strategies for LAC

Updated: 2 days ago

This was the final session in the webinar series titled 'Driving Action to Address Atmospheric Pollution from the Industrial Sector in Latin America and the Caribbean.' The series was organized by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the Clean Air Institute, in the context of the progress made under the Intergovernmental Network on Atmospheric Pollution's Regional Air Quality Action Plan for Latin America and the Caribbean 2022–2025.

During this session, updates were provided on a guide—currently being developed by UNEP and the Clean Air Institute—that outlines measures for reducing emissions of criteria pollutants and greenhouse gases from industrial sources in the region, along with tools for monitoring stationary sources. The presentations were delivered by specialists with extensive experience supporting cities and countries across Latin America and the Caribbean in the effective control of their emission sources.

The webinar took place on October 27, 2025, and was conducted in Spanish with simultaneous interpretation into English.

You can watch the full session in the following recording. If you wish to access the interpretation audio, please contact us at info@cleanairinstitute.org
