Clean Air Institute joins the BreatheLife Campaign

The Clean Air Institute is proud to collaborate in the implementation of BreatheLife, a joint campaign led by the World Health Organization (WHO), United Nations Environment and the Climate & Clean Air Coalition (CCAC). Breathelife objective is to mobilize cities and individuals to protect public health and environment from the deleterious impacts of air pollution. Clean Air Institute is a Non-State Member of CCAC since 2013.




BreatheLife creates change by:


  • Connecting cities trough a platform to exchange best practices and show how they are progressing towards meeting WHO air quality targets by 2030.

  • Enhancing air quality monitoring, working with cities to improve monitoring efforts for informing decisions and keeping citizens aware about what they breathe.

  • Catalyzing interventions to improve air quality at citywide scale and supporting cities effectively implementing solutions

  • Educating people about the health, environment and climate threats posed by air pollution, and

  • Provide significant ways engage in local, national and global actions.


By joining forces, BreatheLife brings together expertise and partners that can tackle both the climate and health impacts of air pollution.
