19 Nov - CALLING CITIES IN LATIN AMERICA! CAI requests information on policies or programs related to freight transport that you have implemented in your urban area.

The Clean Air Institute (CAI) is responsible for implementing the Regional Project for the GEF funded Sustainable Transport and Air Quality program (STAQ) for Latin America. As part of the STAQ program, CAI is analyzing policies and programs that have been implemented in Latin America to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases (GHG) from urban freight.

We would greatly appreciate any information you can provide on freight policies or programs that have been implemented in your city or region, or any other related urban transport programs. Specifically, we need the following information:

  • Name of the program designed to reduce emissions from freight and other transport.
  • City or region where it was applied or is being applied.
  • Agency or unit responsible for the program or initiative.
  • Contact information for persons involved in program.
  • Brief description of the program.

We thank you in advance for your assistance.
