15 Oct - The Clean Air Institute announce a Community of Practice about Climate Change and Air Quality - November 2012 to February 2013

The Clean Air Institute has the pleasure of inviting participants to the  Community of Practice about Climate Change and Air Quality.

The new cycle of video conferences will be focused on the subject of evaluating emissions reductions of greenhouse gases from transport projects, the state of air quality in Latin America and the analysis of the effects of reducing fuel and energy sector subsidies on emissions and mobility. 

The primary objective is to raise awareness of GHG emissions and local air pollutants and the available methods to evaluate their likely reductions from sustainable transport projects.  Additionally, we will present a report prepared by the CAI on the state of air quality in Latin America, and a study into the potential impact on air quality and emissions from a reduction in subsidies on fuel and the energy sector.
